The EU is setting new standards for cross-border waste shipments

Under Regulation (EU) 2024/1157 and Implementing Regulation (EU) 2025/1290, new rules on cross-border shipments of waste will come into force from May 2026; including the introduction of mandatory digitalisation of notification procedures. The European Commission has recommended that Member States continue to accept Annex VII documents in paper form between 21 May and 31 December 2026.

For businesses and public authorities, this means that early preparation is crucial to ensuring the transition is as smooth as possible and to meeting the requirements of the new Regulation to the best of their ability.

This is exactly where we come in: with our new online video course, you will learn exactly what the digitisation requirement means for your business, what steps need to be taken now – and how ZEDAL International can help you manage the transition efficiently. Flexible, on-demand and with direct practical relevance.
